What we store
Email, a hashed password, language, reminder details you save (type, title, expiry, notes), reminder settings, and short technical logs. If you connect Google Calendar we store tokens needed to create events.
Why we process data
We process data needed for your account, reminders, subscription and the service so we can provide Snap & Forget (performance of a contract).
We process data related to withdrawal from the contract because the law requires it.
We process necessary security and operations data to protect the service and keep it reliable (legitimate interest).
Optional AI processing of a photo happens when you choose to use scan (you upload a photo). You can skip the scan.
Google Ads and Google Analytics 4 run only if you choose Allow in the cookie panel. You can change that choice later.
Who we share data with
To run Snap & Forget we use trusted hosting, email and payment providers. If you use the optional AI scan, a compressed photo is sent to an AI service to read the details. If you allow analytics and advertising cookies, analytics and ads providers also process data about how you use the site.
We do not sell your data, and we do not give it to others for their own marketing.
Some of our providers may also process personal data in the United States. We make such transfers on the basis of the EU–US adequacy decision (Data Privacy Framework), where it applies to the recipient, or using standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Photos
We do not keep photos. If you use scan, a compressed photo goes to an AI provider in the EU to suggest a type and date, then it is discarded. The server keeps only the reminder. You can skip the scan.
Email and hosting
Reminders, account confirmation, password reset, paid-subscription confirmation and withdrawal confirmation go through a mail provider. The app is hosted in the EU. We do not sell your data.
How long
We keep account and reminder data until you delete them. Short technical logs and sent-mail records are kept for 90 days. A withdrawal record is kept for 3 years, including after you delete the account, because the law requires it.
Cookies
We use a session cookie (login and form protection). Language is in the page URL. Google Ads and Google Analytics 4 turn on only after you choose Allow in the cookie panel. Until then we do not run ads measurement or analytics. You can change the choice later in the footer.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and to object to processing. If we process data based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Erase it in Account, or email us. You can complain to the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
